Siobhan King holds a BA (hons) Fine Art and PGCE (Art and Design) from the UK. A Brussels-based painter, she has exhibited and worked in Brazil, Indonesia, England, Zimbabwe, China, the United States and Belgium. Siobhan endeavours to explore the relationship of art to mankind and man to nature. Oscillating between abstraction and realism, her works mix actual and imagined people and places.  Conveying a sense of creation being an autonomous event, happening outside and despite us, her paintings aspire to celebrate human life as mankind’s “brief moment in the sun”. Her nomadic life continues to be a source of inspiration in her painting.
